The Nimitz is inspired by the namesake of the dominating NIMITZ class aircraft carriers and is a squared-off metal frame aviator, featuring a metal rim, with modern flat lenses and our signature bold branding on the arm. So whether you're ripping AIM-9X’s off the rails, running airspace from the tower, or just need a great pair of sunglasses to seek the heat in— you can trust that the Nimitz has the thrust to get you off the deck.

"I love the way they look. The fit great and the polarized lenses are comparable to much higher priced lenses. The only reason I’m giving a 4 star instead of 5 is the frame sits really high on my face- rather than hugging my face. It’s not a deal breaker… just a little different than any other glasses I’ve owned. But that could just be their style. Idk. I still really like the way the feel so I would buy another pair regardless."

"I absolutely love the Nimitz. I have never been able to find a pair of Aviator style sunglasses that look right on my face, so I thought that I would try the Nimitz because of the square frame design. Let me tell ya, it's my favorite pair of sunglasses that I've every owned. I actually had my first pair stolen at work (I guess they loved them as much as I did) immediately after realizing they were gone I instantly went to the website and ordered another pair."

"I have owned several pairs of Heatwaves over the years, and this pair is by far my favorite. These aviator look and feel extremely premium, and not flimsy like most other aviators out there.
