The Nimitz is inspired by the namesake of the dominating NIMITZ class aircraft carriers and is a squared-off metal frame aviator, featuring a metal rim, with modern flat lenses and our signature bold branding on the arm. So whether you're ripping AIM-9X’s off the rails, running airspace from the tower, or just need a great pair of sunglasses to seek the heat in— you can trust that the Nimitz has the thrust to get you off the deck.

This style designates our first unisex addition to the GOLD line and works great on both male and female faces.

"Too large for my face. Sit high on the face as well. Very flat across the face. Not really what I expected. They're very aviator like. I expected them to be a little more subtle. They look great on Travis Pastrana, but I guess he's got a giant head. Strange because I can usually pull off any type of glasses. These just aren't it. I returned mine."

"I love the way they look. The fit great and the polarized lenses are comparable to much higher priced lenses. The only reason I’m giving a 4 star instead of 5 is the frame sits really high on my face- rather than hugging my face. It’s not a deal breaker… just a little different than any other glasses I’ve owned. But that could just be their style. Idk. I still really like the way the feel so I would buy another pair regardless."

Will we be getting the aviators with the ultra black lense?
It does not look like we will be getting that lens option for those frames anytime in the near future.
